Who is a participating
provider?
Participating providers are
credentialed, private practice dentists who agree to give quality services
to members at a lower cost. You can locate
participating providers,
convenient to you, even before joining. These providers are members of
the CAREINGTON International Dental Network, one of the
largest dental discount networks in the country. Dentists have met a highly
selective credentialing process based on education, background, location,
office facilities and other requirements.

How do I get started?
- Locate a
participating provider convenient to you
using our online search (or call us toll-free). Up to 25 names per
category will be displayed, online.
- Join
online or by phone, fax or mail. Services begin on the first of the month. (You may choose the first of the
current month or the next month.) You will receive your ID card within
7-10 days after signing up, and a fee schedule for dental procedures in
your area. Call us if there is an emergency situation needing
immediate care and you do not yet have your ID card.
- Call a participating dentist for an appointment,
and verify that the provider is currently participating with CAREINGTON International. The provider will then be able to
give you significant savings for dental services. If you have not yet
received your ID card from CAREINGTON International, please
call us and bring some form of identification to your appointment. You
are responsible for paying your discounted bill at the time of
service.

cleanings.

Is this plan dental
insurance?
No. This is a reduced-fee dental
plan, not dental insurance. The plan offers many of the same services as
insurance, generally at a much lower cost and greater savings to you, and
with fewer limits on use. There are no limits on the number of visits
or services you receive. Lab fees
are not discounted and are to be paid in full by the member.

Can the dental plan
coordinate services with traditional indemnity dental plans?
If so, how?
Yes, this dental plan can
coordinate services with indemnity dental plans. In order to receive
services from this plan, first visit a
participating provider. After paying the reduced fee, you can file a claim
with your insurance company for reimbursement.

My dentist is NOT a provider
with this plan. What can I do?
Let us know who your dentist is,
and we will have CAREINGTON contact him or her about becoming a
participating provider. Because providers must meet CAREINGTON’s
selective process, please be aware that the credentialing and qualifying
period can take several months from start to finish. Please click below to
submit the name of your dentist or dental specialist. In the meantime,
visit our online
participating provider locator to find participating
providers convenient to you.
